Next – Too Close (1998 US 12”)
Late-90s R&B at its slickest. Next’s Too Close became the group’s defining track, built around a heavy bass groove, smooth harmonies and the polished production that dominated American R&B at the end of the decade.
Original 1998 US 12” release, a great period copy for anyone building a 90s R&B collection rather than relying on later reissues.
