Chick Corea & Lionel Hampton – In Concert: Live at MIDEM 1978 (2021 RSD Black Friday Limited Edition)

Two jazz giants meet onstage at the MIDEM Jazz Gala in Cannes in 1978, with Chick Corea’s fluid, inventive piano alongside Lionel Hampton’s unmistakable vibraphone. Originally recorded at the height of Corea’s fusion-era powers, the performance captures two generations of jazz meeting in a wonderfully lively concert setting.

Issued on vinyl for the first time in 2021 for Record Store Day Black Friday, this limited pressing is numbered out of 1,000 and pressed on heavyweight transparent crystal-coloured vinyl.
